OUR INTRODUCTION TO THIS UNIQUE PRODUCT OF NATURE
|
MINROSA was formed in July 2007 and is a family owned business , based in Bordertown, South Australia.
In January 2006 we were sent some samples of Himalayan Mineral Rock Salt to trial with our animals.
Also being involved with farming has given us the ability to trial and evaluate the benefits of giving our animals a natural mineral supplement. Our livestock have access to the supplement all year round and if they "need it" they "lick it. "
"Nutrition in balance" is the key to our successful production of prime lambs and we describe Himalayan Mineral Rock Salt as a preventative supplement for animals, and when given constant access it has reduced the ailments in animals that occur with seasonal ,feed and reproduction changes throughout the year.
We found the blocks to be very hard and tolerant of damp conditions. There are no sweeteners in M.R.S.to attract animals.
Himalayan M.R.S. has been used for human consumption for many
centuries. It was also called KINGS SALT because it was the salt reserved for Kings and royalty. The word 'Salary' was derived from Roman soldiers being part paid in salt .Salt is the most common ingredient in the foods we consume today .
We believe that Himalayan M.R.S. is the world’s healthiest salt, being locked away deep in the mountains, free from pollutants for millions of years with 84 micro-minerals in a natural form.
Best of all, it is unprocessed, with no additives or preservatives unlike common table salts.
Please look through our website to discover some of the uses of this incredible product and revisit every now and then as we are still developing the website and adding information .
